Police in Mokhotlong recovered three bodies from different locations across the district over the past weekend.
In an interview with Mohale FM today, District Administrator, Kepa Keqe, confirmed the discoveries, noting that two of the bodies were found in the Senqu constituency while the other was located in a remote area of the district.
Mr Keqe described the most alarming case as that of a woman found dead in the Manganeng area, allegedly killed by her husband over suspicions of an affair. The husband is currently in police custody.
He also reported that the body of a man, believed to have been stabbed to death, was recovered in the Lilimala Popa area, with investigations ongoing into the circumstances surrounding his death.
Authorities have launched inquiries into all three cases, which remain under review as they continue gathering information to establish the full details of these incidents.
