The Basotho Action Party (BAP) recently held a joint door-to-door campaign across the constituencies of Mabote, Khubetsoana, and Mokhethoaneng over the past weekend. The initiative aimed to engage communities directly and remind them about the party’s policies and guiding principles.
In an interview with Mohale FM, the secretary of the Mokhethoaneng constituency, Mr. Mokoena Khama, said the campaign sought to help communities better understand the BAP’s core values.
Meanwhile, the party’s national secretary, Mr. Lepolesa Makutoane, emphasized that the BAP is not in the habit of making promises it cannot fulfill, such as pledging employment for all Basotho.
Mr. Makutoane added that this campaign reflects recognition of the party’s ongoing efforts to empower young people. He noted that the BAP has already provided entrepreneurial training in all nine districts of Lesotho, with certificates awarded to participants endorsed and signed by the Ministry of Education.
Mr. Khama reiterated that the campaign also aimed to highlight the three pillars upon which the party is founded, which are the rule of law, clean governance, and an inclusive economy
