Mohale FM The leader of the United African Transformation, Dr. Mahali Phamotses says she is proud of the progress made by the young Basotho she helped travel to Russia for studies and work opportunities.
Speaking in an interview with Mohale FM, Dr. Phamotse said the students have successfully completed the first stage of their programme, which focused on learning the Russian language.

She explained that although the initial arrangement was for the students to begin working only after completing their first academic year, discussions with sponsors resulted in an agreement allowing them to start earning and supporting themselves earlier than planned.
Dr. Phamotse further revealed that 23 Basotho youth are currently studying at Synergy University under the first phase of the initiative. She added that the long-term vision is to continue sending different groups of Basotho youth to Russia for educational and employment opportunities over the next 10 years.
