Government Disbands Temporary Assets Committee

The Office of the Prime Minister has announced the dissolution of the temporary committee that was appointed to track government assets, including land, houses, vehicles, and other state property.

According to the statement, the decision follows the discovery that the committee had not been officially gazetted. The Office clarified that once the gazetting process is completed, the committee will be reinstated to continue its work.

Meanwhile, the officers who served on the committee will return to their respective departments.
