Water shortages in the areas of Hlotse and Maputsoe will soon be a thing of the past, as the project aimed at connecting water to households in the lowlands is set to be completed.
More than one hundred thousand households are expected to benefit from this initiative, which is supported by the World Bank with funding amounting to 1.1 billion.
Water from the Hlotse River will be collected at Ha Setene and distributed to various areas, reaching as far as Pitseng, Kolonyama, and Mapoteng.
