The United States and Iran have held separate discussions with mediators in a renewed effort to end their seven-month war.
The talks focused on an amended version of Iran’s seven-day ceasefire proposal presented last week during the United Nations General Assembly.
Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araqchi says Tehran is awaiting a US response to its latest ceasefire proposals and conditions for restoring maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz.
Previous ceasefires agreed in April and June later broke down.
