Thinyane accused of blocking wool farmers’ BKB exit

Wool farmers in Mantsonyane have accused Lesotho National Wool and Mohair Growers Association chairperson Mokuenehi Thinyane of blocking their attempt to leave South African wool broker, BKB.nnThe farmers say some have waited almost a year for payment and want to join newly established broker Baokunyaoda, which they say pays immediately. They allege that officials warned them against joining the new broker. BKB Lesotho manager Christopher Thinyane, Mokuenehi Thinyane’s son, denies that farmers are being denied payment and says they are free to choose any broker.
