Advocates for the Supremacy of the Constitution, SECTION 2, has given Education Minister Ntoi Rapapa seven days to direct schools to allow learners with outstanding school and examination fees to sit for their final examinations.
The organisation says it will approach the Constitutional Court if the minister fails to respond, seeking to delay the examinations until its challenge is determined.
SECTION 2 argues that learners should not be excluded from classes or examinations because their parents cannot afford the fees.
Rapapa had not responded by the time of the bulletin.
