South African police are investigating whether there may be links between a series of killings after a fifth woman’s body was discovered in the Kempton Park area on Monday.
SAPS has cautioned that it is too early to classify the cases as the work of a serial killer. Investigators are examining the circumstances surrounding the deaths and are drawing on behavioural and psychological profiling as they work to establish whether the incidents are connected. The latest body was found in Olifantsfontein, adding urgency to an investigation that has already raised concern in the community.
