South Africa could record its highest-ever petrol prices next week, with Petrol 95 facing an under-recovery of R3.12 a litre.
Economists expect a price increase of around R3 a litre, which could push petrol prices close to or above R30 a litre. The final adjustment could also be affected by changes to the slate levy.
