PAC grills Kobeli over his pending debts with LNDC

The owner of duty-Free Outsourcing Factory, Teboho Kobeli came under immense scrutiny after failing to repay loan at LNDC, during the Public Accounts Committee’s meeting held in Maseru on Wednesday this week.
The chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), Machabane Lemphane Letsie asked Mr kobeli to produce a shareholder’s certificate to show how he acquired his shares as a majority shareholder when he bought the factory that was already financially troubled.
Meanwhile, Kobeli refused to share with the committee such particulars of his company as he deemed them personal. The committee then sought to demanding him to repay his pending loans which he was unable to do until the committee adjourned.
