Mohale FM Operation Dudula has issued a stark seven-day deadline to the South African government, demanding a direct meeting with President Cyril Ramaphosa to discuss their Memorandum on immigration issues.
Leader Nkosi Phakela emphasized that the group refuses to hand over their document to anyone other than the president or his close associates, asserting the urgency of their concerns.
In a social media video, Phakela clarified that their stance is not anti-foreigner but focused on addressing crimes and disturbances linked to illegal immigration, particularly in townships. He accused foreigners of wreaking havoc on South African communities, citing their involvement in numerous criminal cases. Phakela pointed out that South Africans have been victims of these actions and expressed frustration over the perceived lack of government action.
The group’s ultimatum underscores their demand for urgent attention from authorities, warning that if their concerns are not addressed within the stipulated time, they may escalate their protests.
