Lesotho will compete in only eight sporting codes at the 2026 African Union Sports Council Region 5 Youth Games in Maputo, Mozambique, because of financial constraints.
The Games will run from December 4 to 13, with Lesotho participating in boxing, netball, soccer, judo, table tennis, lawn tennis, taekwondo and para-athletics.
Athletics will be limited to visually impaired athletes, alongside Special Olympics participation.
The Games bring together under-20 athletes from 10 Southern African countries.
