Mohale FM A 38-year-old man, Majoalenyana Malataliana, a member of the National Security Service (NSS), appeared before the Mafeteng Magistrate’s Court on 23 March this year on four charges: two counts of sexual assault, as well as assault and housebreaking with intent to steal.
According to reports, the accused allegedly entered a residence in the early hours of 20 March, at approximately 3:00 a.m., through a window that had not been properly closed. The homeowner, a 52-year-old woman, was alerted by movement inside the house. Upon raising her head, she saw a man standing beside her bed and recognized him as a colleague.
In a separate incident of alleged sexual assault involving the same individual, it is reported that on 25 November last year, after leaving a bar, the accused went to another residence. He reportedly knocked on the door and falsely claimed to be someone known to the occupants. When the homeowner, a 34-year-old woman, opened the door, she discovered that the man was a stranger.
