Rescuers in Indonesia are searching for more than 100 people after the passenger vessel Virgo Transport 8 capsized in the Java Sea.
Authorities said the ship was carrying 243 passengers and crew when it lost contact with its operator. At least six people were reported dead and 107 rescued, while rough seas complicated the search operation.
The vessel had sailed from Surabaya and was heading for Banjarmasin. Investigators are examining weather conditions and possible technical factors.
