Four daughters of the late Tšoanelo Lekena of Khanyane, Leribe, are challenging a lease issued to businessman Mahommed Abubaker over a property in Hlotse.
The daughters say their father was allocated the property in 1978 and later left it to them as his heirs before his death in 1980. They say they only discovered in 2013 that a lease had allegedly been issued to Abubaker in 2001.
The daughters are asking the Leribe Magistrate Court to determine who is legally entitled to the property.
