From the Mohale FM bulletin dated 23.09.2026.
A man from Ha-Nyenye in Maputsoe, Ts’eliso Kompi, has appealed against his 28-year prison sentence at the Court of Appeal.
His appeal is scheduled to be heard on October 6th.
Kompi claims he was convicted of murdering former police officer Tihang Molupe without substantial evidence and was given a harsh sentence.
Molupe died in 2020. He and Kompi were business partners who helped farmers sell cattle in Vanderbijlpark, South Africa.
Their dispute reportedly arose over money from the sale of a farmer’s cattle.
