Former Prime Minister Thabane Recovering Well After Hospital Stay

Former Prime Minister, Tom Motsoahae Thabane is reported to be recovering well after spending about a week in hospital.
Speaking in an interview this morning, his son, Potlako Thabane said his father has since been discharged from hospital and returned home, where he is being cared for by his wife, Maesaiah Thabane.
Potlako explained that Dr Thabane’s illness was not as serious as some may have thought, saying that what was initially a routine medical check-up ended up taking longer than the family had expected.
He added that he spent time with his father yesterday and was satisfied that he was recovering well, with only some weakness remaining due to his advanced age.
Potlako further stated that the person who has the most detailed knowledge of Dr Thabane’s health condition is his stepmother, Maesaiah Thabane.
