Mohale FM As the world watches with hope for an end to the conflict involving Iran, the United States and Israel, political analysts say that even if hostilities cease through diplomatic agreements, a return to normalcy is unlikely to happen quickly.
Political scientist Mr. Lepolesa Makutoane told Mohale FM that countries often become involved in the conflicts of other nations to protect their own interests rather than to promote peace and stability.
He explained that while the intensity of the conflict may decrease if agreements are reached, a complete resolution is unlikely in the immediate future. According to Mr. Makutoane, the current agreement proposals do not appear to fully involve all parties, particularly Israel, making it difficult to secure a lasting settlement.
Mr. Makutoane further noted that the conflict has had far-reaching consequences beyond the countries directly involved, affecting the global economy due to its heavy dependence on fuel and energy supplies.
