Team Europe have regained the Solheim Cup after defeating the United States 15-13 in a tense final-day singles session at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands.
The teams began Sunday level at 8-8, but Europe built momentum through wins from Charley Hull, Linn Grant and several of the side’s rookies.
Lottie Woad’s victory over Auston Kim moved Europe to 14 points before Spain’s Carlota Ciganda beat Jennifer Kupcho to secure the point that confirmed the trophy.
The result gives Europe their eighth Solheim Cup victory and their first since 2021.
