Malawi’s CTS Group has opened a new auto-parts outlet in Lilongwe as the company expands beyond its original courier-services business.
SMEDI executive director Kondwani Kachamba said the venture reflects the potential for local companies to diversify and contribute to economic recovery. CTS general manager Joseph Manda said the outlet is intended to improve access to vehicle spare parts and that the group plans to expand to Mzuzu, Blantyre and Zomba.
The new operation adds another line of business to CTS Group and is expected to support employment and commercial activity.
