From the Mohale FM bulletin dated 23.09.2026.
Principal Chief of Kueneng and Mapoteng, Chief Peete Lesaoana Peete, says Lesotho has good development plans but continues to face challenges in implementing them.
Speaking on the challenges, Chief Lesaoana expressed concern that farmers still have to travel to central distribution points to collect seeds and fertiliser, leading to overcrowding and forcing some to spend nights in the streets.
The Ministry of Agriculture has invited agricultural-input suppliers to register and renew their licences so they can sell inputs closer to communities and ease congestion at distribution centres.
