Mohale FM As the deadline for foreign nationals to leave South Africa this month approaches, the Border Management Authority (BMA) continues to encourage its officials and partner agencies to remain vigilant in carrying out their duties.
The authority has commended officers for their dedication following the successful implementation of large-scale repatriation, deportation and border enforcement operations at the Beitbridge Port of Entry.
On Friday BMA facilitated the repatriation of 673 Malawian nationals and 202 Zimbabwean nationals through Beitbridge Port of Entry as part of coordinated efforts with the Zimbabwean and Malawian foreign missions supported by the Department of Home Affairs and the South African Police Service, among others.
The Zimbabwean nationals were transported on three buses from Gauteng, while the Malawian repatriation operation involved five buses from Durban in KwaZulu-Natal and a further five buses that were coming from Cape Town.
