The All Basotho Convention is facing further internal turmoil, with its Secretary General Thebe Mokoatle and Chairman Kemiso Mosenene resigning from the party’s National Executive Committee within days of each other.
Mosenene gave no reason for his resignation, while Mokoatle cited safety concerns and accused party leader Nkaku Kabi of failing to act after an alleged assault by his bodyguards.
The resignations follow a recent dispute in which Kabi accused Mokoatle and his deputy Samonyane Ntsekele of destabilising the party.
